Separation Anxiety?

Anyone else has a LO that flips its shit when you or DH is not around? I posted awhile back asking if LO prefers you over DH, but now DD freaks out if I'm not in the same room. I know this is a phase, but I have my culinary school graduation on the 18th and I don't want her to cry the whole 4 hours I'm away. Any tips mamas? Anyone BTDT?

    I wish I had some advise for you. We are going through the same thing here. DD flips if I'm gone for more the a couple of minutes.

    Congrats on your graduation!! DD usually starts crying when H hold her after 5 mins...he gets annoyed immediately as soon as she starts crying, so I grab her right away and she's perfectly fine. My mom watched her and DS when I went to see family after a loss and she did fine. I'm assuming it was bc I wasn't in her sight. DS will sometimes tear up if he stays at my mom's overnight and we aren't there. They just love their mama!

    I'm going through this as well! Every time I leave for work DS screams and cries even though he's with DH. He also won't nap if I'm not home. I feel bad because DH can't get a break while I'm gone. I used to think it was because of the NICU stay which might contribute to it but since others are going through it it might just be a baby loving their mama thing.

    @MiaMyPuggle‌ Thank you! I hope its an out of sight and out of mind thing..

    @tylynngrace It's because we did such an awesome job as a mom that they cry over it haha.

    @cnctf At the Japanese fest, Alden carried her because he hasn't seen her all day and she fell asleep on his shoulder and he moved her into his arms without waking up! There is hope! Haha.
