Weird names

A girl I went to college with had her baby today...they were team green. Well, they had a girl and named her m-a-y-l-o-r Jon!!
Thoughts?

ETA-dashes in between letters in case she bumps, or googles.
Me 28 DH 30 Married 08-11-07 TTC since 07/11 HSG 01-21-13 Left FTB Seeing RE 1-28-13 RE 1-28-13 Both tubes blocked LAP surgery 2-15-13 Both tubes removed Started IVF #1 June 2013 Meds: BCP, Lupron, Gonal-F, Ovidrel, Medrol, Doxycycline
Beta #1-BFP!!! HCG-55 Beta #2--111 Beta #3--2,825 Beta #4 22,031 1st U/S 7-29-13 Saw and heard our little sweet pea's heartbeat!! 109 bpm

    Did they attend Baylor and just change the first letter? I think it's strange.

    Lol, no!! Their other daughter is Mavery... Not as bad.
    I just think kids will call her Mayor! And Jon for a middle name?

    May.lor is definitely weird. My baby girl has a boy name for her middle name. Her middle name is her dad's name--which is traditional here.

    I don't get too up in arms about middle names anyway--it's not like people have to use them

    I knew someone who named their DD Keith Russell (first and middle names). It seems to be more common in the Philipino community to give girls 'traditional' boy names.

    My husband thought I was crazy for thinking my Dads name (Douglas) would be cute for a little girl! We didn't name our little girl that, but it's still on my list of names for the future!

    There is also a player named Braxton Hicks. I think he plays for William & Mary but could be wrong.
