Did DH really just say that???

Babysitter got sick this morning so Mason came to work with me until 11:30 when his dad could get off to pick him up. I feed Mason and get him to sleep only for him to wake right back up as soon as I come back upstairs with a bowl of ice cream. I ask DH to rock him back to sleep for me so I can eat my ice cream before it melts and he says "I'm exhausted- I worked half a day today and then I had him..." Um what?!? Normally, he is a great dad and is very hands on but that's the dumbest thing I have ever heard! Did he think maternity leave was a cakewalk?

    Haha I just laughed in his face. he started backpedaling when he realized how stupid that sounded.

    Yesterday, SO took the day off and DD and I woke up before him so our routine is to take DD to see her grams next door to us. DD was fussy and started to cry so my MIL wanted to take fussy DD to SO to wake him up. He woke up confused and asked where I was and to immediately take DD to me. You can see why DD prefers me over him..
