I'm just sitting at work waiting for this LO to decide to grace the world with her presence. I keep thinking any day now, but really it could be like up to 3 more weeks!

Every day I keep cleaning off my desk at work just in case it's my last day. And I'm so tired of people telling me I need to go home, or making fun of my waddle as I make my way down to the bathroom for the 15th time each day.

I'm still sad about not being on vacation with my family, but I am getting back into the swing of things. Looking forward to tomorrow's doctor appointment and time with family this weekend.

I'm "working". But I just honestly don't have much to share these days!

I did have some pretty major red spotting the day before yesterday that lasted all night... but the RE got me in the next morning (my first OB appt isn't until tomorrow) and everything looks fine. Good heart beat, measuring 9w5d, and no large pockets of fluid that would indicate a SCH. I'm glad it's nothing major, but I wish I had a reason for such a terrifying thing!

Yes, I have also noticed it's been pretty dead around here.

I'm still waiting to hear about my referral to the fertility clinic, I really want to get back into the swing of things again.

Other than that, work is drama filled, my in-laws are driving me nuts. But the rest of my life is awesome!

@Chiwifey, hope C feels better. M's all 4 canines finally came through last week. It was a painful month for us (they came out one by one, a week apart). He is, however, still drooling like there's no tomorrow. He's always a big drooler, and I've resorted to putting bibs back on him. I changed his shirt 3 times yesterday despite the bibs.

I've been quiet lately because M finally switched to a 1-nap schedule since last weekend. So I don't get my morning "break" anymore. Instead of having 2 90-min breaks, now I only get a 2-hr break. And man, those 2 hours fly by quickly. By the time I"m done cleaning up, prepping for snack and dinner, folding laundry etc, I'm lucky if I get 15 minutes to sit down to check my email and surf on the 'net! Mornings are like a marathon these days - from wake-up until his nap - nonstop with him and I don't have a single moment to myself. I know I'm whining... it's going to take me a little while to get used to it. OTOH, M's nap transition went really well. We switched last Sat and haven't looked back since.

I'm around but not as much as usual. I'm trying to work while at work... shocking, I know! And I'm so flipping tired that the computer is the last thing on my mind at night.

@pbbride I'm just at the point where I think we will also need to make the switch to one nap, right now we are day to day trying to read M's cues. It sounds like you made it a deliberate switch? That might be what I have to do instead of trying to follow her...thanks for the idea, totally understand missing the two naps already though!

@ducky719 - I've been having some internal struggles with thoughts around ttc #2 and have been thinking about you! Hope we both get some clarity soon. My issues are more centered around the fear of it not working.....

@fullfhope, DS is 18m, which is at the late end of the transition period (most books/expert say 15-18m). I tried once at 15.5m and it was a disaster so we went back to 2 naps, and I kept at it for as long as I could. Normally one should slowly push the nap back by 15-30 mins every few days. But what we ended up doing was pushed his nap back by almost 2 hours from day 1. We also let him slept in so he slept an extra hour in the morning. I think my son was able to tolerate this abrupt change because he is older.

I agree it's quiet. I just updated on trying to conceive check in from yesterday. The shorter version is that my cycle isn't progressing well. I've had a lot of hiccups this cycle. Egg retrieval is this Sunday - Mother's Day and transfer is Weds. I've been sick the last few days and can't keep anything down and I'm terrified it's doing damage to my eggs and that this cycle won't work. Sorry to be a downer but as always I appreciate you ladies for listening.

School is driving me absolutely insane!!!! My kids are draining me even more than usual because since state testing is over with, they think everyday is free day. 16 more days....I can do this. I'll be able to actually check the boards for more than 10 minutes in the evening when summer break starts.

I am having a horribly difficult time, LO is not herself there is something wrong but can't tell what it is. We took her off gluten and her rash went away but then she had 2 bananas and it came back with a vengeance. The docs think she might have a problem digesting sugars.
I had two severe allergic reactions this week where I went to the er.
And on top of everything I stopped my prolactinoma meds and now I started bleeding on cd 20 wtf? I can never catch a break clearly experimenting with going off things is so dumb, so why do they do it?

And we are supposed to start the journey to ttc# 2 in June so this is a big mess.

Tomorrow I see the surgeon to maybe figure out what's wrong with my legs and back. It's 8 months later and my foot still goes numb from after my cs.

Yes and we are trying gluten free and then will try taking her off something else we are trying to avoid putting her under to scope her. Next fri LO will see my allergist.

Ive just been enjoying being with my family while on maternity leave. Baby girl is 3 weeks and I feel like we have a good routine down. Big brother has been sick which is no fun. I dont have much to post but I lurk daily.

I'm so glad that just about everyone on here has been successful conceiving and carrying #2. I feel I don't have much to contribute I'm such a downer and, dare I say, a bit envious that I am still waiting to complete my family.

MIL is on town. We are having a blast. I have the best mil ever, she cooks, cleans and watches my baby. All I have to do is have plenty of wine on hand for the evening.
