Ok, I need some help. What's the best gear to use for baby bath time? I've read good things about the Blooming Bath, the Leachco Safer Bather and the Fisher Price whale tub. Anyone have experience with these? Pros? Cons? I'd rather stand and use these at or by the sink than have to bend over a bath tub if that makes a difference. Thanks!
Re: Best gear for bath time?
We have the fischer price whale tub and love it. We fill the tub with a small bucket and place on the bathroom counter. The back support for LO is great, and I really like the adjustable size ( small piece that allows LO to sit up with his back reclined, when he's older, we'll remove the extra piece). Easy to drain with bottom plug and has a ring to hang (allowing to dry).
The price was great at Target, they frequently have 20% baby essentials, and I had a fisher price coupon for 5$ off, final cost was 15$..For 15 bucks, I think this tub is fantastic!!

I (and my baby) LOVED the Puj tub. We used it until dd couldn't fit anymore. Then we started using the inflatable ducky tub from Munchkin. I love the ducky tub and so does dd!
The blooming bath seems like such a PITA to me. Your supposed to put it in the dryer every time you use it

I do like the baby washcloths though, since they are smaller and thinner than regular washcloths and not as rough. We still use those for my toddler.
I used the Boon Naked tub from birth to 15 months. I didn't want a large plastic one hanging around in the bathroom since we have one linen closet in there. I liked that it folded flat and could hang on the shower curtain rod or the back fo the door.
It was tricky when DD was tiny. I bought a Munchkin Infant Insert sponge at target for $5 that helped. We gave her baths on the vanity county (tub fit up there) once she got older we plopped it right in our own tub.
Tried the Puj but it didn't fit into our sinks..not sure if it was how our faucets are but we couldn't make it work.
We used a Fisher Price sling tub and liked it a lot. Not gonna lie, I keep eying the new Angel Care bath contraption. I like that it's not too big like a small tub. Although, you use it in the regular tub so filling with water takes longer.
I SO regret the big plastic tub we bought. Once DD started sitting up we no longer used it but rather just stuck her in the big tub. I'm thinking of turning it in to a flower garden for her. Seriously.
The best thing was the $7 foam mat we got as a gift. This could be used in either sink or bath. Easy to store. Easy to travel. Easy to replace, if needed (though we never needed to)
