Whats your flavor?

I took my glucose test yesterday and my drink was a very interesting lime flavor. Tasted like flat sprite. With my other two I believe I had strawberry and orange. Out of all the three the lime was probably the best tasting.

So just curious if you had yours what flavor was it?

I have mine at the end of this month, if I'm not mistaken I think they told me mine would be orange. Maybe it will be like some of you and be cold!

I've got the orange stuff in my fridge for my next appt.
The way I remember it tastes like flat orange soda. So not bad.
The first time I did it everyone made it out be the worst thing ever so I fully expected it to be like chugging maple syrup.

I've got the lemon-lime one in my fridge. I'm hoping it tastes like a flat sprite! At least that would be bearable.

I had fruit punch last week. It was a little colder than room temperature, but I wouldn't say it was cold. The first couple of sips were ok, then it got gross. I also thought it was like a thick syrup, but it was a true liquid. Definitely bring a straw. The straw made it easier to drink.

Mine was fruit punch. It was not that bad...just a little thick, like syrup.

Fruit punch! My doc office highly recommended drinking it refrigerated. Hopefully that cuts down on the nastiness.

Fruit punch.

The lab tech told me that in her experience so many people feel ill after drinking the lemon-lime one that she doesn't even order it for the practice anymore. She also suggests that you avoid the orange one if you're having a girl because it tends to make you feel ill. These are all just her observations but I thought it was interesting.

I have the lemon-lime one in my fridge ready for Tuesday. After I picked the flavor, OB said she thinks that's the least offensive tasting one.

Mine was straight up room temperature sugar water, no flavor at all. The lab tech noted she had diluted it to make it more bearable, but I think having to drink 16 ounces of ickiness in five minutes was more difficult than if she had left it concentrated.

I have mine coming up in a couple weeks. At my last appointment they gave me the choice of lemon lime or orange. I went with the orange one. I heard it is better if cold so I have it in the fridge. I don't drink soda so I hope it doesn't taste anything like that. Guess I'll find out soon enough!
