Vitamin D drops

Doctor gave me vitamin d drops to give to my boy. Since we've been giving them to him he's been really gassy... Anybody else have this problem? I don't want to see him so fussy because of it, but also don't want to stop giving it to him.

    Yes, I combine the vitamin D with gripe water in a bottle and that seems to help. HTH!

    DD seemed like she had a hard time pooping, but that ended- not sure it was related to the drops.

    I was kinda thinking the same thing, and my little one had started throwing up at least once a day since-not sure if it has to do with the drops

    No problem with ours, we use the kind that requires only one drop rather than 1ml.

    LO seemed to get an upset tummy from the sample drops the doctor gave us. I switched brands, and then he didn't have a problem. This is what we're using

    What are the drops for? Our pedi hasn't suggested them and just wondering how they help baby?

    @Yogini6911‌ breast milk does not contain vitamin D so the drops are a supplement to ensure they get their vitamin D given they can't spend time in the sun etc. to get it. Ask your pedi about it as I believe all breast fed babies should be receiving a vitamin D supplement.

    Ah thanks for explaining. I'll ask the doc...I take 3000 iu of vitamin d each day and I wonder if vitamin d is transferred to my LO.

    This is how my pediatrician has me getting her the vitamin D. I take 4,000 ius and she gets extra from my milk.

    We use the Baby D Drops, which only require one drop a day and I haven't noticed any issues (though I have to admit, I forget about have the time...)
