Tuesday afternoon I slept until 12 which is unusual. I woke up and wasn't hungry at all. I went to work at 1 and once I was there preceded to throw up. I left work about 1 1/2 hours into my shift. I threw up everything I took down the rest of the day. The next day I slept 15 hours minus getting up to pee abs barely ate anything. Same thing until today. This morning I've been dry heaving and have had diaherra. I haven't eaten and its 1:30. I'm exhausted and have pretty much slept until now. I'm awaiting a call from the actual doctor. The nurse suggested I may be headed for labor and delivery for monitoring and fluids. It sounds like I could have caught a bug but since its been 4 days I should be better. At this point I'm concerned I'm going to get dehyrdated or already am. And hopefully that's all that's wrong. I have had some cramping at belly button level but there is no consistancy so I'm guessing its just stomach upset. I feel bad I'm missing more work but I need to take care of baby first. If you think you are dehydrated, just go to the er to get fluids. You'll feel infinitely better! I had a stomach bug with DD that landed me in the er overnight for fluids and monitoring. They also have me iv zofran, which was wonderful.

Oh no! So sorry you are going through this! I had a terrible stomach bug with my first pregnancy and threw up 27 times in one day. I called the doctor and they called in a prescription for an anti nausea medication to my pharmacy. After taking that I was finally able to keep some food down and then got better pretty fast. maybe ask if they can give you a prescription for anti nausea meds?

Jesus Christ!! I don't know that I've thrown up that many times in my entire life! (Seriously).. Well, except for when I was a baby. But I feel like that's different.

I'm so sorry! I hope you get to feeling better soon! If you do go to L&D I can promise you an IV bag of fluids will go a really long way in helping you feel better!

I had a stomach bug the beginning of this pregnancy and threw up every 30-60 minutes for just over 24 hours. It was brutal. Luckily it left as quickly as it hit and I didn't have to go in for fluids.

UPDATE: thanks for all the thoughts ladies. Checked into labor and delivery. Doctor thinks I did have a flu bug of some sort and when pregnant it just really knocks you down. Severely dehydrated and could barely get a good vein

oww. They've been
Monitoring her heartbeat and making sure I am not contracting. Gave me zofran and I'm in process of two IV bags with one containing sugars and vitamins. Once that's done they would like me to try some toast and see how that goes. I'll be here for a while but the nurse say they're hopeful I'll go home tonight as long as my blood work checks out alright.

I hope you're feeling better soon! I've been to the ER twice this pregnancy with the same thing. I've never been so sick in my life, but luckily it went away after a bit. It definitely helped to get fluids and Zofran.

Updated again! Thanks again ladies! After the two IV bags my blood work was good, electrolytes back to normal etc. Braxton hicks were happening (I didn't even really notice) but no real contractions. They had me eat some dry toast and I kept it down....at least on one end lol but they discharged me at about midnight. They advised that if the diaherra continues after each meal after a few days to return. But hopefully its just clearing my system and I'll be good to go! Most importantly little miss isn't bothered a bit as she's been more active during my sickness than before amd her monitoring was great. So no wonder I've been sleeping so much she's sucking all the life outta me! Thanks again!
