    I'm joining in this week!

    Week/fruit/EDD: 6/Sweet Pea/Jan 2nd

    Team: Hoping to be pink

Updates: Found out this week that it's twins...again!  Not sure if I'm excited, but definitely terrified.

How are you feeling? Exhausted, a little nauseous, sore breasts, normal PG symptoms

QOTW: Do you have any Mother's Day plans (either for yourself or for your own mom/grandma/mother figure)?  No.  We might take my boys to the zoo, but will probably spend the day getting ready for 2 birthday parties for my boys this month.

Oh my gosh, I can't even imagine two sets of twins! Congrats! I don't blame you for being a little terrified.

Updates: FINALLY made some progress on the nursery and made our first attempt at installing the carseat...which btw is A LOT bigger in the car than it looks just sitting on the floor in the house!  Pics attached.

How are you feeling? Pretty good.  At my appointment last week the doc said I dropped, which explains the enormous amount of pressure.  Getting a maternity belt this week to give me a lift.  Not that I don't totally rock the pregnancy swag, but it would be nice to walk like a normal person.

QOTW: Do you have any Mother's Day plans (either for yourself or for your own mom/grandma/mother figure)?  Nope. I honestly don't think DH has any idea that it's Mother's Day this weekend. My MIL just left me a voicemail to see if she could come over tonight and bring dinner...which means I have to run home over my lunch hour and clean like a maniac so I don't feel the sting of her non-verbal judgement.

Double congrats!  Twins x 2?!  Holy moly.

Updates: I go in for my 1 hr. glucose test next Tuesday, so FX for that. I started researching day care, and it is way more challenging to find part-time care at part-time rates than I thought it would be. We have a tour of one place that does offer part-time infant care on Monday, so FX for that as well.

How are you feeling? I am fatigued again and bummed about that. I am trying to keep up with my exercise routine to help combat the fatigue, which does seem to help.

QOTW: Do you have any Mother's Day plans (either for yourself or for your own mom/grandma/mother figure)? We're painting baby's nursery this weekend. I sent a card to my mom and will call her, but we won't be doing anything that day.

    Team: want to know

Updates: let's see... Well I'm still pregnant!! YES!!! I had my 2nd u/s on Wed. The baby measured 5w6d (by LMP I was 7w3d, by O date I was 7w5d). Baby grew a weeks worth in the last week (they were pleased to see this). The heartbeat was only 80 (they were not happy to see this). I go back on Friday the 16th. Fingers crossed I'm here again next week, though things are not looking good.

Feeling?: I'm mentally exhausted. Wed was also my son's EDD. Today is my birthday. Sunday is Mother's Day. I'm just mentally done. Physically I wish I was sicker... I have hardly any symptoms. :(

QOTW: my mom and sister are coming to visit. We plan on working in my garden. Not fun to spend the day doing that, BUT they are both amazing at it. I need their help.

  • Oh wow @MCH77. What a rollercoaster of a week you've had. It's great that baby is growing! I hope your next u/s brings more reassurance. Happy birthday - I hope you are able to do something for yourself, even if it's just sitting on the couch watching TV eating a big piece of cake. Big *hugs*

@katee2184 - sounds like it's a good thing you've made progress on the nursery and got the car seats installed if baby has dropped.  Let me know how the belt helps?  I've often wondered if it's a worth while investment down the road.

    Will do!
