Baby shower?

I am not pregnant as of now but we are trying. We do have a 6.5 year old from hubby's prior relationship. I feel that I should be allowed to have a baby shower when the time comes! What is the concensus?

    Yes. Since you haven't been welcomed/showered into motherhood from your own child, it would be perfectly acceptable for you to have a shower if someone offers.
