DD is having a make your own sundae birthday party, but I'm really picky and don't like much on my sundaes, so I need to know what kind of options to have out.
I like hot fudge, whipped cream, maraschino cherries, chopped pecans, chocolate chips or cookie dough chunks, reeses pieces, m&ms, butterfinger pieces, andes mints...
We use the same things already listed, but I run a party for elementary school kids and we do make your own monster sundaes. All the toppings are labeled something icky (chocolate sprinkles = bugs, green sprinkles = boogers, whipped cream = ghost breath, crushed Oreos = dirt etc.) Then we have a little contest to see who made the best one.
I know you weren't looking for activity ideas here, but if you want one, it's a cute way to do it!
To my boys: I will love you for you Not for what you have done or what you will become I will love you for you I will give you the love The love that you never knew
I didn't see mention of mini marshmallows. Those are a must.
When I've done sundae bars, I used muffin tins or heavy bowls to hold the toppings. Kids go nuts and tip light plastic bowls over easily. I freeze premade balls of ice cream flavors for easier serving. Also, Walgreens has disposable plastic spoons that change color when cold.
