Movement on the outside.

Anyone else already seeing kicks/punches on the outside? SO has barely been able to feel her but yesterday as I was laying down she decided she was going to kick hard enough that I saw it. I woke up SO and he was pretty excited to see that he almost didn't want to put his hand on to feel because we were both fascinated just watching. I never heard of this from the women in my family so I was completely unprepared for it.

Our little guy has been visible on occasion for a few weeks now. It is so weird and exciting! It makes him seem so much more real. Last week I was cuddling with my 2 1/2 year old niece, and she looks up at me and said, "Aunt Kitty, your baby is kicking me in my face!" I laughed at her and told her maybe she could sing him to sleep. It was the cutest thing ever, and it seemed to work!

Nope, not yet. Can't feel it from the outside even though I can feel that he's a total hardcore ninja on the inside. Guess I'm too fat to see it yet.

I am so ready for DH to be able to feel the tiny minion that's beating up my insides. I also cannot wait until I can see the creepy movement on the outside. I'm super interested in what my cats who love to cuddle next to my belly will think of it.

Baby is breech right now for me, so she's mostly getting my bladder. I've seen a few little movements, though, and DH felt her once. It gets so weird (but still cool) later on, when your whole stomach rolls and moves!

I saw it last night for the first time & couldn't stop smiling. Pretty sure she had the hiccups earlier this morning.. I just sat at my desk in amazement & watched my belly shake off & on for a few mins.

DH was able to feel some movements from the outside just the other night for the first time but they aren't strong enough yet to see.

With DS I would get a lot of stares from teenagers on the Metro sometimes and as I got further along I would always hope for some big movement to happen and freak them out, ha ha!

Really weird you posted this today. I've been watching my belly when I feel him kicking and today I finally saw it move from the outside. Very cool. I'm 21w1d.

I very rarely feel her from the outside and DH hasn't gotten a chance to yet. I can't wait for that to happen!

Well I'm glad that it isn't nearly as unheard of in the general population. I swear, being around for 13 pregnancies in my family you would think I wouldn't have missed giant baby bellies moving or feet sticking out. Guess you learn something new everyday.

I was praying that DH would feel her before leaving for Texas (won't see him until the birth), but no luck. Then the first day he's gone, I feel her from the outside. That's a cruel joke, little one.

Yes, it's so awesome!!! My DH has felt him about four times, my mom once and sister inlaw once. I can see my belly move now too. I love it! It is all feeling so real now! Sometomes whrn I'm trying to fall asleep he is having a dance party and startles me awake with his movement.

When I rest my hands in my lap, I've seen my arm bounce a few times. I can feel baby from the outside a lot now. DH is more interested now that's it's stronger and more obviously the baby too. It's pretty frequently kicking away and we both find it adorable and exciting.

I haven't been able to see it from the outside, because honestly all I can see when I'm resting and looking down at my tummy is the movement of my tummy from my own heartbeat, which is sooo strong lately. My tummy just goes up and down pretty strongly with every pulse...so I feel like until baby is bigger, it would be really hard to differentiate my heartbeat and baby movements.

My SO has felt the baby kicks a few times. The first time he was really excited and really lit up. Now, every time I start feeling kicks and grab his hand and place it on my tummy, he just sort of patiently complies, but I think it's getting old for him. It's nice that he humors me, though

This past weekend we were all excited to celebrate our first anniversary, and talking about our plans when I felt the baby start to move on Friday night under my arm. I immediately took DH's hand and put it low on my belly, and within a few minutes, he felt the little thumps and just lit up. The next afternoon, I was dozing on the couch when he started moving around again, so I took DSS's hand to check it out. It freaked him out a little, but he was so amazed! DH got jealous and immediately put his hand there, too.

I've also seen my cell phone, which was resting against my belly, bounce away from a little kick to the side, but no visuals on the surface quite yet.

I am just over 23 weeks and I have just started feeling him/her. This baby is so lazy that I will be heading in for my 3rd attempt at the A/S later this week. We have also done 2 viability scans just because the Dr and nurse could locate the heart beat during appts. Going to cause grey hair this one is.

Yes, this was me for about a week and a half. And then on Friday, I started feeling more consistent movements in general. Though mostly when I'm lying down, which I assume allows my anterior placenta to move enough out of the way that baby can get past it on my lower abs. I'm still not anywhere near kick-count levels, but the movements are getting a little more predictable, particularly in the morning and evening hours.

I feel so bad for DH. Every time I have him feel the baby the baby stops moving! It's very anti-daddy right now… As far as movement there are days where baby won't stop moving and other days I don't feel anything at all! So frustrating!

I First felt her on the oustide at 19 weeks... I was shocked cuz I didn't know that could happen so early. by 20 weeks my mom felt her kick.. and by 21 weeks we could see my belly moving from the outside. This is my first, so I didnt expect to feel so much already. But Every appointment ive been to they comment on how active she is. Im 23 weeks now and feel her moving alot! I think she's going to be a handfull :O hehe I love the feeling tho
