Looking for suggestions for a 1 year old girl birthday gift..

    We are asking for outside toys for DD. Her birthday is at the beginning of June, so we will get a lot of use out of them over the summer. Also, we are asking for gift cards to places like Target for essentials, and/or boxes of diapers/wipes. Since she won't really remember this birthday, the difference between opening a box that has a toy in it, and a box that has diapers in it won't really make a huge impact on her. :) (Honestly, she'll probably just play with the box, either way!)

    I am getting my LO a slide, a swing and toys for outside. She is turning one in a few weeks. For Easter she received wooden blocks which she loves. For A books are always appreciated. Gift cards are not a lot of fun to buy but are a good option too.

    books that make sound
    a sing-a-long CD
    lego duplo ice cream set
    little people Ariel's Coach (she LOVED this when we were in toys r us the other day)
    beach wagon with accessories
    Corn Popper
    Musical Tea Set
    Shopping cart with fake food

    My little guy loves this!  

    He's also getting a sandbox.  I'm sure his sister will monopolize it tough :)
