ARRRGGHHH! Vol. 2

My husband just came downstairs and with no preface whatsoever said "My sister is pregnant again" She is an unbearable twit and her husband has the personality of dry toast AND she has a one year old. For all those keeping track, that is 4 pregnancy announcements in the last month. If I were a better person I would be happy for all of them, but I'm not so I'm hitting the sauce instead. image

    People get pregnant! And it seems like they get the most pregnantest when you are having a hard time getting pregnant yourself.  8-X

    BFP #4 2/18/14.  EDD 10/30/14... Ruptured ectopic with L tube removed & D&C 3/7/14.

    IVF #1    Oct 2014 - antagonist protocol: 9R, 7M, 5F. 3dt of 3 Grade 2 embies. BFN. 
    IVF #2    Jan 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.  Converted to IUI #1. BFFN
    IVF #2.1 March 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.

    BFP #6  (SUPRISE!) 3/19/15.  EDD 11/30/15...  CP at 4w2d.
    IUI #2:    Clomid + Follistim = 3 follies. BFN.
    IVF #2.2 May 2015 - horrible response to micro lupron flare protocol: 3R, 3M, 3F. 3dt of 2 Grade 3 embies. BFFN. 

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

    I'm sorry. I've been saucing it the last too nights myself. How can everyone be pregnant with their 2nd-4th child all right now?!?! Sauce it up sister!

    TTC#1 (between us): June/July 2013

    DX: MFI (low count and motility)
    Charting/OPK/CBFM July 2013-present
    1st RE Visit: January 2014
    Cycling: 
    March 2014- 75iu follistim + trigger + progesterone + IUI = BFN and OHSS
    (8 million post wash 47% motility, 18mm/17mm/16mm/16mm/14mm follies)
    April/May 2014- Benched due to cysts/enlarged ovaries
    June 2014- 50iu follistim + trigger + progesterone + IUI = BFP!!
    (10 million post wash 60% motility, 20mm/19mm follies)
    Beta 1- 85 Beta 2- 2,752 - EDD 2/27/2015

    Literally for seven days over the past week I had a friend tell me they were pregnant each day. I was happy for them (over the moon for one of them!!!!) but the rest I was beating my head on a desk too (I think my exact quote about them was "we weren't even trying teehee haha gag choke"). I'm focusing on my happiness for the last one and knowing that our day will come too- and focusing on my calendar and crossing off the days till my next real chance. (Hugs)

    I am so sorry! I keep going through this too. It's doubly bad because first you feel sad because it reminds you of your lack of a pregnancy, and then you feel sad again because you feel bad about not feeling happier for the person.

    Thanks everyone. I always feel like a big baby when I let other peoples pregnancies upset me so much but there it is. Holy cow @Momarazzi007 I'm pretty sure 7 in one week would put me in a mental hospital. Sounds like you handled it just right. Think this one was worse A.) because of the way DH chose to tell me and B.) b/c I already dislike my SIL. On the bright side, she lives 800 miles away.

    It is absolutely frustrating.  My aunt recently said that she didn't understand any of this "IVF stuff" because she didn't even try and just got pregnant.  Argh.

    Ugh.  I hear you.  The toddler group for DS1 has more women pregnant or with a newborn than not.  It kills.  And of my 2 local BFFs, E is due 1/2, L had her FET today and will (hopefully) be due 1/27 and I would have been due 1/10 with the chemical pregnancy.  While I am thrilled for them, that is going to sting for a while.

    Our licensing and placement SW told me Wednesday that they just took two drug addicted newborn into custody whose mothers are habitual offenders and automatically have there parental rights terminated. We aren't at the point for a placement and it stung to hear that these women just don't care. I would give the world. It stings even more when it's someone you know personally, I think!
