Have you seen the latest trailer? Goodness... it's getting good, and I do LOVE Sam's thicker Scottish accent for Jamie. I'm having a REALLY hard time with the fact that we still have to wait a few months for this, and as much as all it does it makes me want to go back and reread Outlander before the show, I'm still slogging through A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

@LilNunz1 They haven't announced a date yet for the show (I don't think?) - the latest chatter I saw is guessing mid-August. Which is FOREVER away.

MOBY comes out... June 10, I think? Ugh... I'm never going to make it through Breath AND Echo...

Where did you see that? I've never seen Starz say anything other than "Summer" (super helpful), and I saw an analysis somewhere of where they think Starz will put the show (I guess the big night for their shows are Saturday evenings), and that slot is taken until August. Lots of guessing going on.

I'm still on book....6? Breath of Snow and Ashes? I'm hoping to finish that, and Echo, and then Moby, but I definitely want to reread Outlander. Unfortunately lately it's been taking me a LOT longer to read through them all.

I only read through book 4 because I started not liking where the story was going and they are just so damn long and verbose that it was hard to keep going when I didn't really love the story anymore. Hopefully though, if I re-read Outlander, and then really love the series, it will motivate me to finish all the books.

I still love the first one though, so I'm insanely excited for the show :-D

I'm with @Pepper6 - I really love Outlander, but by book 4 or 5 they just got so long and slow. But super excited for the series to start! We don't have Starz, but I will find a way to watch somehow

I also made it to book 4 or 5. I can't tell because I frickin lost my kindle charger. It's driving me nuts - I keep thinking it's going to turn up but it's been weeks! The last one I read Bree and Roger were going to make a go of it as a family at that clan gathering.

The first book is definitely the best. Wish I had Starz.
