I had my lap and chromotubation done a week ago and the follow up was yesterday.

Day of:
Everyone at the hospital was amazing. I don't know if they quite got my sense of humor (before they put my under I was like, "if you have to open me up more, give me a big scar, like a shark bite." and when they were taking me to recovery they asked how I felt and I said "like I've been punched in the gut and up the vagina."). Our RE told the mr a few things (basically that everything looked fine, but there was a little endo and a small fibroid), but wanted to wait til the f/u to go in depth. I got sick during recovery, maybe 30 mins or so after they gave me some oxycontin, so they gave me phenergen and I sleep for a few hours. That felt pretty good. I went into operating at 9 and came out at 11, but stayed in the hospital until 3:30. MH was so sweet, he got me a little plate for my tea bags and a bottle of lotion at the gift shop (I have a thing about lotion and couldn't use any for the 48 hrs leading up to surgery).
F/U:
Well, it looks like there really was no blockage in my tubes after all! I had mild endo on the backside of my uterus, which the RE took care of, and everything else looked great. My fimbrial look young, everything was pink and happy. I got to see all the pictures, so that was cool. I wonder if I can get copies of those? Also, I have a pretty appendix (per our RE). It looks like I may have a fibroid, but it's small and isn't in the way, and it's not affecting my uterine cavity, so we're leaving it alone for now. I guess we're in the unexplained infertility group?
Our plan:
Go through a few medicated cycles of IUI (no more than 4) and then IVF. I picked up my femara and stopped taking bc yesterday and now I'm just waiting on AF so we can get this cycle party started.
I'm so relieved that my tubes are ok. I was worried/disappointed that we were most likely going to have to go straight to IVF. And I'm glad that we have more options at this point.
