3rd Trimester

What is the one thing you DO NOT

need any more of for baby?

For Lillian, its blankets!  She has so many pretty blankets that I don't want to use because they are so special and pretty but then she has way too many receiving blankets (which I heard you go through a lot of but seriously, 30 blankets!?) and thermal blankets.  This child is gonna be SO warm!

Re: What is the one thing you DO NOT

  • OH...0-3 months onsies. Enough already!
  • Loading the player...
  • Definitely blankets!  we have about 15 of the fuzzy fleece ones and I haven't had my shower yet!
  • With DS, it was hats. GOOD LORD. The child can only wear ONE hat at a time! And it isn't like we live in Alaska, people. GAH.

(with this baby, we have not received one single item. It's been kind of nice)

  • NB diapers, wipes, NB sleepers and 0-3 months clothes.

I would actually like to get another blanket or two in a funky, cool pattern.

  • Clothes and blankets.....she has a ton of blankets though!
  • Ditto on the blankets. so far we have 15 blankets and I haven't had my shower yet too.
  • Hats and short sleeve onesies. My SIL was generous enough to give me a HUGE box of gender-neutral clothes she got when she was pregnant with my niece, but there are so many short-sleeved onesies in there. I could probably put a different one on my baby every day for a month without doing laundry. And I'm sure I'm going to want to dress the baby in cute blue or pink stuff once he/she is here and won't even want to use the gender-neutral stuff which makes it so much worse!

  • CLOTHES

Between my SILs (I have 2 nephews) and my friends with boys this kid has clothes until he is 2. Seriously.

  • 9 month clothing. Everyone seems to think that our son is going straight into 9 month clothing once he is born. I know he is measuring big but not THAT big.
