My husband got a new job, which is GREAT. They even got his insurance to go into effect on May 1st and his old insurance cancelled on April 30th. This is also great since we didn't have to go without coverage. To make it even better, the insurance is exactly the same plan so I know all of the hoops that I have to jump through.
While all of that is great, they don't move fast. It went into effect on the 1st, but it wasn't in their system until the 5th. They said it takes two days to get temporary cards online. The website still doesn't show the new plan. I finally called and they faxed me a form that will work until I get our cards. Now I have to call my primary care to get the referral. Again... not fast.
I need to get into to see my RE!! I am 5 days late and I was spotting last week. I called them and they said they need to run some tests to find out why I have started yet, but they need the referral. I have a blocked tube and I had the other tube removed, so I know it isn't late due to pregnancy). I need to know what is going on so that I can start my BC to get ready for IVF in June.

Nice! I was going to add, as long as you have coverage, they will cover you, you just may need to submit it yourself if you aren't processed yet, blah blah blah. But I'm glad it seems to be taken care of!
