Post partum bleeding

Hi-

Just had my baby 6 days ago and my bleeding is no where near what I heard it would be. It was heavy with fluid the first day or so, but ever since then I haven't come close to filling a pad. I do bleed, especially when feeding....it's just nothing compared to what I was told it would be. I still need a pad, just not the heavy duty ones.

Did anyone else not really bleed? Thanks!

After my first delivery, I bled a ton. My second, not nearly as much. I pretty much only bleed while nursing. The uterus contracts to reduce in size while you nurse so that's probably why.

I bled heavily for a couple days at most. I used regular absorbency pads after that and did fine. I'm a month pp and still using pantiliners though.

I'm 4 days PP and only bled heavily for the first 36 hours. After that it was a lot less and I've been using regular pads for the last 2 days, which I don't even fill. I change them more for hygeine rather than because they're full. Right now it's like a regular period for me and mine are usually on the light side anyway.

I have had a pretty light flow from the beginning. I thought it would be like a heavy period but it hasn't been at all. I hemorrhaged pretty bad after delivering the placenta too so I don't know if that has anything to do with my light flow or not.
