Any other little ones experiencing eczema?
I'm currently using coconut oil to moisturize once a day, limiting baths to twice a week, and have hydro cortisone for spot treatments per ped's recommendation.
My little guy 14wks today has been overall more fussy since I noticed it developing but we are dealing with lots of things at once. Finishing gs (he gained 2lbs 11oz in four weeks), 4 mo sleep regression, transitioning from rnp to bassinet, me going back to work, and first tooth (I can see the white coming but it's not through yet). He is ebf and gets pumped bottles while I work. My mom takes care of him at my house so there's not been any environmental changes. I'm so bummed bc he went from sttn to waking 2+ times every night. I'm having a hard time figuring out what I can do to help him.
My question is for anyone with experience dealing with eczema what are some signs that it's bothering lo? Any tips or tricks for handling flare ups? Specific things or foods that you avoid?
TIA
Re: eczema
I've had eczema since I was 7 and was always told not to use scented lotions, body wash, etc. and when drying off with a towel after bathing/showering to blot instead of run dry to prevent further irritation. And I always use hydrocortisone on it growing up, but unsure of when it is ok to start using that.
Married June 2010.

I tried like ten creams. He has eczema so bad it would crack, ooze and bleed.
Daily water only baths followed by tons of Cerave cream (not lotion) on damp skin. Apply it all over 3-4 other times per day too. Make sure you use free and clear detergent, no fabric softener etc.
