Crossed eyes

Anyone else's Lo's eyes look crossed sometimes? It's not all the time but when i notice it it freaks me out. I believe I read somewhere that it is normal at this stage because their eye muscles are developing...Any input ladies?

    Completely normal! I asked our pedi because I noticed it too.

    As the PPs have said, it's completely normal. The muscles in the eyes just aren't fully developed yet and so the eyes float around sometimes. My pedi said if it hasn't stopped by 9 months (pretty sure he said 9 because I remember thinking that was a long time) then talk to him. It stopped well before then though. I call it google eyes haha @-)

    Very normal! They're still learning to focus their eyes so that can make them look cross eyed as well.

    I freaked when I saw this too! I thought my face was too close to his or something, so whenever it happens I yank my head back and yell "no cross eyes no - cross eyes!" Lol glad to know its normal

    I just asked my doc about this yesterday because DD#1 has vision issues. He said at this age only worry if an eye is always turned in or out. Then after 4 months watch for it. If it's crossing after that point then talk to your doc.
