Green watery stool

My son has had green watery stool(hasn't had a yellow stool at all these past 2 weeks) with some blood flecks for 2 weeks. Stool was tested for bacterial and viral infections and both were negative. Called the blood in stool benign hyperplasia...something they grow out of. Doctor doesn't seem concerned, but I do...anyone deal with this or have any advice? Currently gluten and dairy free to see if that makes a difference. My son is pretty much a happy baby and gaining weight...another reason dr isn't that concerned. But I still am...am I nuts or is the dr?? Help

My baby had green watery poop too, but I'm not concerned...

  • I've heard the iron in formula makes poo green tinted. My LO still has pretty green poo at 10 weeks.

  • Are you making sure to cut out dairy down to the ingredient level? It has some weird names. And I've heard it takes up to 2 weeks for it to leave your body, and another two to leave your baby's, so that's why it might take awhile to see some improvement.

  • Mine has green poop all the time (EBF). Doc and LC say NBD so long as he's happy and growing.

  • I've read that an over abundance of fore milk can cause green poo.
