I had a c-section in 2007 and am eligible for a VBAC. I am due today and am not sure what kind of delivery I want to have. The recovery from my c-section was awful and miserable. A vaginal birth however, looks really scary too! Anyone have had both types of deliveries and have an opinion on which you'd choose to do again? Thanks for the help in advance
Re: getting really scared/nervous about delivery
Maybe see if you can find some inspiring quotes or birth affirmations to get you through your doubts? Also reading VBAC success stories really helps me when I'm getting anxious about labor and delivery.
Honestly, I'm a bit jealous of c section moms who get to schedule their birth and know when it's coming, BUT I would so much prefer a vaginal delivery because the c section recovery scares me!! Double high five to all of you who've done it!
If I have to have an emergency c-section then fine, but I definitely don't prefer one and have heard many times the stories of rough recoveries.
Good luck to you!
