I was trying to search for this but it is not working. How many ounces are you giving for when you are away at work? I was guess 12 ounces..is that enough? I will be gone 7-4 and she will be fed at 6:45 am before I leave.
Just to add, I feed at 5am and top-off at 6:45 and then drop off at 7:15, pick up at 4:30-4:45ish. She then eats again around 6:30pm and goes down for the night.
I go back tomorrow. When I do give a bottle she seems to last 3-4 hours on 3-4 ounces. I think I will do 12 ounces, and my mom has formula. We will see how it goes the first day and go from there.
I send three 4 Oz bottles of milk and two 2 Oz bottles of formula. Milk is gold for me as I'm not pumping enough so the formula is just in case. LO is in daycare from 6:45-2:45. She rarely needs the formula, so 12 Oz of milk seems to be her usual. I feed her before we leave, and she will usually BF within a half hour or so after getting home.
BF baby, birthday 12/26 (so 4 months). I started out by sending 3- 4oz bottles. A few weeks ago, they told me he was very fussy after his bottles still, so I moved up to 3-5oz bottles. Just this week, I am again informed he's not fussy, but doesn't seem satisfied. I have started out with oatmeal and some veggies at night, so I sent some of that today for the first time.
I feed him at 6:30ish, he's dropped off at 7:15am where they feed him his bottles at 9:30, 12:30, and 3:30, then I usually am able to pick him up by 4:30. I'll then feed him again myself by 5:30.

I guess my daycare is different. I leave 4 bottles there that she washes and sanitizes and keeps then I take a rubber maid container for liquids (it holds about 32 oz) and leave it there for her to use. I take one on Monday and another on Wednesday and anything left over on Friday I take home and use. I then get a sheet with how much he eats each day plus cereal amount and type and time and duration of naps and diaper out put. This cuts down on wasted oz for us since some days he only eats 5 oz while I am gone and some days its 12 oz (8-5:30). I ep if that helps.
Do you have some frozen that you can take to your parents? I took a bag to mil's when she started watching LO for her to have on hand if she needed it. He's an eating machine some days so it's nice to have back up. But to answer your question, I send 4 4oz bottles. Sometimes, if I have it fresh or I'm anticipating getting out of work later than normal, I will send a 5th.
