Halp with room design

So we just painted the kids room this color since we figured it was fun and gender neutral since they will share a room for the foreseeable future. It's a bit too much green and I want to do some accents. We were thinking of doing the ceiling a light blue and maybe some accents. I thought if we did blue accents it might seem too masculine. I was thinking more purple but I'm not sure how the colors would blend. Any ideas/suggestions?
Eta-for newbies on mobile I have a boy and girl a year apart that share a room.

    It might be tough to tell in the picture but its a pretty bright shade of green. Not very dark at all.

    I love this color! I would do a pale yellow or light gray ceiling. For decor or accents I might do white or cream and gray too and incorporate some yellow, pale blue, and splashes of lavender for your girl. Or do you want bright decor? Still thinking...

    I just think the pale colors and gray would be nice since it's a bright color. I wouldn't do any primary color accents
    Even a splash of navy blue would look cool. Definitely yellow, and you can do light or bright for that color.

    What about a white shelf all the way around the rooms (or molding) like 2 ft down from the ceiling.  Then paint light blue above the shelf.  It will look like grass and sky.

    That sounds darling!! We LOVE butterflies around here. My girls' room is "Sassy Violet" with butterflies. Your colors sound awesome together. Do you mind posting a picture? I'm always looking for inspiration :)
