Okay so we have narrowed it down to two names, but we cannot for the life of us decide. You might not like the names, BUT, can you vote on which one you like better??
I definately prefer Riley over Kendall. I like the Riley spelling much better. My first DD is Jordynn and I wish I would have just spelled it Jordan bc it causes so much confusion and I feel like her name is "Jordynn spelled J.O.R.D.Y.N.N." bc no one knows how to spell it and were constantly correcting people. I have to spell it anytime we call the doctors office, school etc bc people assume its Jordan and its annoying
Yeah, I'm jumping on the Kendall train. I know of 4 Rylee/Ryleigh/Riley's in our group of friends already, with another 2 waiting in the wings. It's just a little too popular and feels way too trendy for my tastes. Plus I know that my friends spend almost all their time having to spell it for people because there are so many ways to spell it. Kind of like what @Kendrav4 was saying about her daughter's name.
At first I liked Kendall...but reading through the posts I like Rylee a lot too now.
I always think of it would I like the name on an adult? Sometimes it's easy to think "oh so cute for a little girl" but what about a grown woman? That's what makes me lean towards Kendall.
Another vote for Kendall! I agree with the PP's in that Rylee doesn't transition very well into adulthood. I wish more people would think about their kid's future when it comes to names, and try to picture them applying for jobs, working as CEO of some big company, President of the United States, etc., when choosing a name. I'm weird enough that I even try to envision my kid as a grandpa/grandma and whether the name I choose will be timeless and age as gracefully as they will. That's why my top name choices are classics like Abigail and William. I know, real snoozers when compared to the current "Jaxons" and "Braylees" of today's world.
I like Kendall, I also like Kendra which is very close. I'm not a huge fan of Rylee- one because I don't love this spelling, and 2 because it's pretty popular. I also for some reason aways think of Riley as a dog name...No idea why i have that association.
I'm on the "boy names are easier" team. I love lots and lots of boy names, but really struggle to find girl names I love. There are lots that I like or think are pretty, but finding a girl name that I really love is tough. Boy names, easy peasy.
I like both but I prefer Rylee, it's one if my favorites! My husband and I are also the exact opposite of you. We think girls names are easy but are having a really hard time with boys names! We re so excited to find out on Monday!
