36 week check up today. Hoping it goes smoothly. I've been getting very nervous before my weekly check ups, guess since I'm almost there (and I've been 2cm the last two check ups)! I also get my strep test results today.

Had my 36 week check up and ultrasound. Baby is already measuring 7lbs 3oz. My husband was born 9lbs 14oz. I am worried that if I go full term I will have to have a C section because of his size. Anyone else having a full grown human? Lol.

Edit: I accidentally shaved 11oz off my husband's birth size when typing. Let's be honest 9lbs14oz is much scarier than 9lbs3oz lol!

Regular baby doc appt today. Going to ask when weekly appointments will start and I'm anxious to see what baby b's position is. It felt like she was trying to turn last night but I don't think she made it all the way lol.

Physical Therapy was lovely, hip alignment wasn't off so they're not sure why I'm in pain this morning

but that massage at the end always helps!

I had another u/s this morning for Skippy's heart. Good news -- the arrhythmia is barely there anymore! Her heartbeat used to sound like potatoes in a dryer and now it sounds normal!! I'm so relieved! The tracing looks soooo much better! Still have to go to twice weekly monitoring but I am happy for so much improvement.

Now the not so good news... Monday night appointment for my kitty (if I may). 2 weeks ago my cat got out and came home with trauma to his tail. We don't know what happened, but it does not appear to be animal-inflicted. We treated him with antibiotics, the vet bandaged it last week cause he was picking at it. Last night she took the bandage off and found his tail was worse rather than better. It had an infection and necrotic tissue. We are looking at tail amputation for my poor fur baby. I feel so terrible that this has happened to him! We go back tomorrow evening for a surgical consult.
I know it is for the best, he is in so much pain despite all the kitty morphine he is on, and an amputation will probably be a much easier recovery than what he is currently experiencing... Why did this have to happen? I feel so guilty and so sad for him. Not a scratch on him in 8 years -- now this? I can't wait for this to be over and have him back to his old self. I'm sure he wants that too, he seems so depressed.

Had my 36 week today with both MFM and Ob. Ob said LO sounds and feels great. In a great position. My blood pressure was a little higher than normal but in a good range.

Then I got the best news from my MFM...I don't have to see him anymore. Don't get me wrong he was a great doctor but because LOs mass isn't detectable anymore there is no need to see him. We are very excited and happy to be able to deliver close to home.

Spending the next 4 weeks nesting for LO!!!

I had my 36 week check up this morning. Things are still looking good. I'm dilated to a 2 but I think I was at a 2 for over a month with DD.

Dr appt went horrible!! I had a really bad episode with my crohns and the diarrhea has caused my fistula to flare up so bad the dr sent me Percocet for the pain and is rescheduling my csection for next week instead of the 27th. Baby Kaine will be 37 weeks, I had my youngest dd at 37 weeks and she was 8lbs12oz. I have a growth ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow and that will determine the final ok for the csection. He was 6lbs5oz at my 33 week growth us, so fx he has grown more and is healthy and ready to come out

NST was good. Contractions were 3 minutes apart, but no one seemed interested haha.

Ultrasound showed my fluid is low again, so I guess we'll discuss that at my midwife appt on Friday.

Very uneventful appointment for me today. We did discuss my birth plan which is almost no plan at all, thanks to my experience with DD#1. Next appointment will be in 2 weeks.

35 week appointment today. All went well! Selectively didn't not look at my weight

then got fisted by my doctor with his giant man hands just to be told again I am a "loose" 1 and not effaced at all. He said "wow baby's head is right there!" Which is good to hear. Also that I have a long cervix...which he didn't bother to explain what that means and I forgot to ask, so if anyone knows what that means could you share? Then got stabbed for a blood draw. Going to one week appointments now, having an ultrasound to see if baby Cora is still a giant next week. I'm pretty sure she is.

Finally had an appt this morning. It had been 6 weeks because I was still on monthly appts and then she went on vacation. At my last appt baby was breech, so she had promised an ultrasound today. Happily she has flipped and everything looks great. So that was great news. We talked about my breast issues some more which was helpful. And now I switch to every 2 weeks. She offered NSTs starting at 36 weeks if I want them because I am 35 (though she said I definitely didn't have to do them). I'm going to call and try to check on the price and decide ftom there.

Had my 34 week appt today w/NST because i have been feeling lousy the last few days and baby hasnt been as wiggly. Everything was fine though. BP was a little high, but not concerning. Next appt starts cervical checks w/NST and fluid checks because I qualify as old now lol. Been having a lot of pelvic pain and BH. 6 weeks seems like such a long time at the moment.
