This is my first pregnancy and not really sure what to expect. My husband and I are very excited to take on this journey together. We have our 10 week apointment on Monday and hopefully get to see our little turkey. Reading all the blogs and seeing that others are going through what I am going through is very comforting and helpful! Good wishes to all
I'm a STM. Part of the excitement the first time around is not knowing what to expect!! The pregnancy is an experience unto itself, but after that little baby comes, you'll feel more love than you ever thought possible. It's exhausting, and hard at times, and consuming, but it is the most amazing journey you'll ever have. My best pieces of (unsolicited) advice are these. 1) Everyone (obviously including me!!) will offer you advice. Listen to your doctor, listen to your mom, and listen to your instincts, but if you try to listen to every piece of advice you receive, you'll drive yourself nuts. 2) The first month or two were by far the hardest. You have no idea what you're doing (at least I didn't), and you're exhausted. Hang in there because you'll get the hang of it and get your own new routine, and you'll get back to a regular sleep schedule. Just hang in there in the very beginning. Best of luck!
FTM here also. Have my 12 week NT scan next week. Saw the HB at 8 weeks and on days I feel "normal" it makes me worry that something is wrong.' Looking forward to the ups & downs with all of you ladies! Welcome to the club
FTM here as well! I have my 12 week sono next week (no mention of the NT scan from dr yet so not sure about that) Can't wait to hear the heartbeat of this LO.
Congrats and here's to a happy and healthy 9 months for you
we heard the heartbeat and saw the little one yesterday. Seems like everything is ok. 180 bpm for the little one settling in that we are really going to be parents!
