@Pitchslap - Excellent job getting back to the gym after a break - and definitely ponder giving couch to 5k a try - it's great!
@tiffletons518 - I hope Insanity is starting to give you some of the results you want to see!

8 weeks for @tttwalters - I hope your half marathon went wonderfully!

And a warm welcome back to @WasNotWas - I hope you've been able to return to the wonderful world of food, but that you're able to keep off the pounds you lost while you couldn't eat despite party festivities!

  • @nolongerthebest The weighing can be super frustrating. I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but measure! I do weigh myself too. But, I always measure because even if you don't see the scale moving, you may be dropping inches. It helps you stay encouraged that you're doing something right!
  • Last week I walked or ran 4 days. I stopped BFing except first thing in the morning so I can't add those calories in my app anymore! :(

    This week I want to try to keep within my calorie limit. I'm going to keep trying on my regular jeans to see if they get any closer to fitting. Work has been crazy busy so workouts may have to wait until the weekend.

    One goal is to lose the weight while feeling good about myself instead of waiting until I lose the weight.

    I love diet cherry limeades!

    You are totally right! I used to do that when I was getting ready for our wedding.  I can tell I have less tummy flab for sure so maybe I should start measuring again. Because it is encouraging seeing the numbers go down. When I look at the scale and see it go up it makes me want to eat all the things!!

  • A day late, but I'm here! :)

    Last week: I let myself break my diet and have my favorite food.. Pizza! But it was amazing and I don't regret it. I jumped back on the diet the next day, and no damage was done. Haha

    This week: eat healthy and exercise at least 3 times. I'm getting over a cold, so I've only exercised once so far!

    Goal: enjoy my new wardrobe (well it just feels new because I haven't fit in these clothes in a long time!) and enjoy being fit.

    My favorite summer drink is Landshark beer! Mmm, fins up!
