Pregnant after a Loss

Uterine septum

Just wondering if anyone found out they had a uterine septum after having one or more miscarriages. I have had 2 healthy pregnancies but my last two have ended in miscarriage after 5 1/2 and 6 1/2 weeks. I go to an RE who saw the septum but since I had had two healthy pregnancies he was not concerned. Now after 2 miscarriages in a row, he is taking it much more seriously and says he will look at it more closely during an SIS and then we will decide how to proceed (ie if we Should Do surgery or not). Anyone have experience with this??

I have no living children, but I had a septum resection in September. I'm currently 10wks pregnant.

There are a ton of ladies on ttcal right now who recently have had septums and resections. Most of them also have no living children currently.

PM me anytime or ask anything here. I also have my story in my blog about my surgery and the month that followed.

I had a septum, almost completely divided my ute in half.  After 2 early losses (around 8 weeks for both) I had it removed.  I have some other issues as well (balanced translocation, AMA) but I am happy to report that I am currently 39 weeks pregnant.  Given the choice I would have the surgery again, very simple outpatient procedure.  Good luck to you.
