NBR- FIL & toddler gone AWOL

My 2-year-old DD, the baby and I are staying at my in-laws' place in the city this weekend. I was occupied with DD2 so DD1 and grandpa went out to blow bubbles on the front step. I checked about an hour ago and they've disappeared. It's not a dangerous area and I'm sure they're fine but I'm kind of miffed that I don't know where my toddler is, that they left without telling me, and that FIL's cell phone is here on the table. Not to mention she's potty training and he didn't take a change of clothes, so he may be in for a big surprise!

    I'd be annoyed too! Maybe they just went to the park or for a quick walk? That's something my fil would do, without thinking about potty training!

    OMG my FIL pulls this exact thing ALL THE TIME! When they were here after the baby was born, he took my 2.5 year old to the local children's museum without telling me, and then they got pissed when we called them out on it! Um hi I have the right to know where my child is at all times. I was livid!

    Holy... If someone took off with my kid without asking/informing me first, I'd have murdered them when they got back! That shit does NOT fly with me!
