What was your diagnosis? I have homozygous MTHFR C677T and Hashimoto's. For the MTHFR, I just take baby aspirin and folgard because my homocysteine levels are normal. For my Hashimoto's, I take Levoxyl and my endocrinologist monitors me very closely. Both my RE and my perinatologist determined I won't need Lovenox shots during pregnancy, but after 3 losses, I just don't know what to do.
Does anyone else have this? What do your drs say?
Re: Those who've had RPL testing (re: MTHFR)
My MTHFR protocol is the same as yours but I get my homocystiene levels checked each cycle. I may need to do lovenox as well once PG but that is for my Factor V not MTHFR.
I think your plan sounds good. I may take Lovenox just to be safe anyways too.
I have hetero MTHFR A & C (I think) and Hashimotos. I take a baby asprin and folguard too and thyroid med too.
My RE checked my homocystine levels a few times during this short pg and they were "excellent" so she wouldn't give me the lovenox.
But I obviously lost this pg early so I am wondering if I actually do need it.
My thyroid has been fabulous too,but RE mentioned that women generally need to increase their dose of thyroid meds as the pg progresses as the baby uses your thyroid and you have to supplement to keep it at an even keel.
