"Congratulations!" (for what?)

I stopped by Walgreen's yesterday afternoon for a few things, and while I was in there THREE ladies stopped me at separate times in separate parts of the store to congratulate me. It was so random. I got lots of congratulations from friends and family when my pregnancies were newly announced, but it's very strange coming from strangers here at the end with no baby to show for it yet. I just said thanks and went on my way, but the longer I think about it, the more I wonder what they were congratulating me for. Here's what I've come up with so far:
"Congratulations on having a successful sexual encounter nine months ago! It's good to see the evidence of functioning gonads."
"Congratulations on still being upright even though you're so enormous."
"Congratulations on actually still fitting in the aisle of this store. We appreciate you not knocking over any displays with that thing."
"Congratulations on being out in public fully dressed with hair and makeup done even though you look like a beached whale."
"Congratulations on having the back and leg strength to carry not only your fat self but also that ginormous gut."
"Congratulations on finding a clothing manufacturer that could spare enough fabric to make a dress that big."
When someone congratulates you at this point, what do you think they're actually praising you for? Feel free to add to the list.

I was motivated by the creepy feeling I had. Energy is pretty well non existent right now. Especially with DS sucking what little I do have out of me!
