weird sensation question

i was on clomid last month but am not taking anything this month. for the past few days (presumably i am ovulating around now) it has felt like my right ovary is doing somersaults. it is a very weird feeling. it doesn't hurt but it's just annoying. i wasn't going to call my dr since it isn't painful and i'm not that concerned about it, but was wondering if anyone else experienced anything like this. i am hoping it doesn't turn into a recreation of that scene from aliens.

    Yeah, I get all kinds of weird twinges at different times that I can't figure out. As I understand it, unless there is bad pain, we are OK to let any odd sensations remain a mystery.

    On medicated cycles my ovaries feel like they have the hiccups.

    I have never in my life been so acutely aware of every twinge and tingle in my lower abdomen since ttc.  I have phantom kicks, as I've heard them called, since my son was born and I curse them!!! I secretly not to secretly hope to end up on that show "I didn't know I was pregnant" and I will look back and say, "I felt the baby move but my chart said I didn't ovulate and I got over 150 bfn's, so I had no idea"  and I will say it like a completely ditsy airhead.  But alas, I think it's just gas.

    Started acupuncture while saving for IVF in Sept 2011
    Add herbal infusions to the mix in Dec 2011
    Hoping holistic approach works!!!

    Ready to start ttc #2 April 2013, but plan to be an extended BF'er
    Back on metformin Aug 2013
    Restart herbal infusions Sept 2013 - currently drinking nettle, oatstraw, and red raspberry leaf
    DS weaned in April 2014
    Taking a break from herbs and just riding the healthy train.  
    Planning medicated cycle end of summer.  FX I get KU before then!!!
