Teacher Appreciation Day

Tomorrow is teacher appreciation day. I know there are a lot of teachers in F14 so I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for having much more patience than me and being amazing educators. My son wrote a card for his teacher and made her a bracelet on his rainbow loom.
The company I work for does a lot of volunteer work in some low income schools in the community. We are sending people to the schools tomorrow with classroom supplies, Staples gift cards and balloons for the teachers. The students wrote letters to their favorite teachers.
I know there was a thread around the holidays about what gifts you got but this (for me anyway) is not about what you scored. If you want to AW that stuff you can start a new thread.

    That is such a sweet card that he made! I actually love when my kids make me cards like that. I have a file in my file cabinet labeled "Feel Good File" where I keep sweet notes, pictures, and cards from my students. When I'm having a bad day, I pull it out and let them make me feel better  :x

    that's so sweet of you!! my gift today was that it was my first day back and I stopped crying before the kids came in haha. also NJASK day 1 went well!

    @carleys I'm sorry to hear about your day and your sub. I had an absolutely awful sub when I had ds. It was annoying to see what she'd done to them but it got better. Hang in there. Try to reel your students back in but remember the end of the year is near!

    @carleys‌, I'm sorry you had a rough first day back :( Coming back from a bad sub for just one day is hard enough, let alone your whole leave! Hang in there and when you need to, just take a minute to daydream about summer break! It's right around the corner!
