Do you wear a watch?

Do you wear a watch? Does your H? I'm just curious how common they are now and I wonder if more women or men wear them.

I got a watch for my birthday from my parents and I love it, but I haven't worn one in at least 5 years so I have to get used to it. H does not wear one and has said never to buy him one because he doesn't want one--partly because he can't really wear it at work and partly because he thinks it's unnecessary since he uses his phone.

Yes, I wear one. It was my wedding gift from DH.

DH does not due to the phone reason. I wish he would. I like how they look.

I don't generally wear one, but I will if I'm doing something where I can't bring my phone. I bought one for my H, and he loved it, but then he lost it and doesn't wear one. He says he'd like a new one though.

I used to love wearing a watch (esp when I was teaching) but I'm terrible about getting the battery replaced when it dies. I haven't worn one in a long time and the only one that works is a digital one set on military time, is off by 13 hours and 10 minutes (dangit DST), and I can't figure out how to change it back.....

I used to have a really nice watch and wore it all the time. I haven't worn one in about 10 years. They are unnecessary (I always have my phone for the time) and if I am going to wear something on my wrist I would rather it be cool bracelets.

H doesn't wear one anymore either

I used to wear one, but only to work. Come to think of it, I haven't put a watch on since my last day of work.

DH wears one every day when he goes out of the house, regardless of where he's going.

My dad gave me my grandpas watch for Christmas a few years ago, but I need to buy a new band for it. Otherwise, yeah, I use my phone.

I put mine on as soon as I get dressed in the morning and wear it all day. I feel naked without it. DH doesn't wear one. He has really hairy arms/wrists and watches pull on the hair.

I wore one until around the time Julia was born. The battery died and the band broke and I never got around to getting it fixed. FIL fixed the band for me recently and I need to get a new battery (it takes a hard battery to locate). I miss wearing it and want it back, just haven't found the battery yet. I may need to go to radio shack for it. I find when it's really sunny out it's hard to see the time on my phone, so I want a watch for that since we spend a lot of time outside these days.

I only wear one when I run- polar watch

DH wears one sometimes. His original band got messed up. He can't find one he likes to replace it.

I'm not sure I've had one since I got my first cell phone. I probably haven't worn a watch in over 10-12 years, I dunno. I use my phone for the time. H wears one, though.

Nope. For some reason they look really weird on me, IMHO. My DH does wear one. I get him a new watch for our anniversary every few years.

I used to when I nannied. But like the rest, the battery died and I never got around to replacing it.

kids these days can't tell time. It is hard to even teach them why they need to learn it

I don't because I don't like the feeling of having anything on my wrists. Dh has a ton of watches and wears one everyday. He's a jeweller and seriously loves watches!

No and I don't wear bracelets either - I hate they way they bang on my desk and computer keyboard!!

But I do wear my Polar watch/heart rate monitor when I workout!

I wear one all the time even though I rarely look at it. I actually hate the one I have right now because the band is too big and the face never stays on the top of my arm. I have a better one that just needs a new battery but I'm too lazy to replace it.

DH always wore one until a few years ago, he was always breaking the band on his and just didn't bother to replace it the last time. I got him a nice watch as a wedding gift and he does wear that when he dresses up if he remembers.
