Losing my Mind!!

I just started to unload my dishwasher... there was a bag of milk on the top rack. Apparently instead of putting the milk in the fridge last night I put it in the dishwasher. Anyone else have a funny story of their absent mindedness ?

Ugh, I hate when those kinds of things happen! Yesterday I loaded up my washer, put the detergent in, and didn't turn the machine on. I didn't realize it until I went back down to start the next load.

Bag of milk? Like breast milk?? Or bag of cow milk like they have in Canada? Lol, either way, pretty funny!

I've found the mustard bottle in the sink before, milk in the cabinet and peanut butter in the freezer. These are all things that I only eat, so I can't blame my husband. I'm hopelessly forgetful these days!

I must have been dreaming that I had a baby girl when DS2 woke me at 3:00 am Saturday night, because I kept thinking things like "I need to go feed her" and "she's so adorable when she sleeps". I was clearly not 100% awake.

I also started a load of laundry the other day and never closed the lid on the washer so the clothes just soaked for hours before I realized what had happened.

I do ridiculous stuff all the time. The best is when I can't figure out why things are so blurry... then I realize I haven't put my glasses on yet!

It was breast milk. I was so mad at myself.

First thing in the morning, I told my husband to "watch out, leave room for the baby" in the bed. It was just a pile of covers but I thought Warren was there. Nope. Also I commonly walk around the house and start 30+ things at one time and finish nothing. Like I'll pick up a dirty onesie, start walking it to the laundry basket but on the way I see a post it to call someone so i pick up the phone, only to see a text from Mom, then I go to my computer and start searching for Mother's Day cards.... On and on and on.... I have never been this distracted.

I've tried describing to DH that there's a force-field around my brain and I have no control over what it allows to pass through and what bounces off of it... I can't tell you how many times we've had a conversation that I don't remember having...

My DH was out in the yard when he yelled to bring out his cell phone. I got all the way out there and handed him his wallet. I have no idea what I was thinking!

Omg I did something very similar to this the other day. I actually hit my husband in the night because I woke up and thought he was rolling onto one of the babies. Neither of them has slept in our bed in months and even then it was only rarely when I couldn't get them to sleep in their bassinets.

Took the remote control in the car with me instead of my phone. Saw it on the front seat when I was in the Starbucks drive thru. Ugh. Felt like an idiot and couldn't text anyone to tell them!
