  I did the first three weeks on my own with the twins. It was hard and I cried when my husband got home. He would take over as soon as he walked through the door. I think taking walks with the boys and dog helped me a lot. Made the day go by faster.

  That was me last Monday. You will get through it! Don't worry so much about getting things done though. Just try to keep the kids happy and see if you can't squeeze in a nap while your 3-yr-old is napping.

  Today was my first day, too, but DS1 is 10 so it was getting him up and off to school. DS2 wanted to eat right away of course, so that was the tricky part. We did not miss the bus so that is a win.

  Well I only have 1, but I'm super nervous about being home by myself with him today! Hoping I can be brave. & manage a walk outside with my little guy & 2 dogs ! Good luck today!

  I have found that my days run smoother without DH around. It took me about a week to get a routine down when I had #2. It took even less time with #3, which surprised me. Good luck today!

  Today's my first day too! DS is almost 2 and DD is a week and 3 days. SO has helped soooo much last week.

  Friday was my first day alone. My mom was here helping for 10 days which was awesome but I got totally spoiled. You will do great! We didn't get out of our jammies until noon and ds was almost late for preschool but everything ran pretty smooth. I even got dishes and laundry done in the 3 hrs I just had dd! Win! Good luck!

  Me too! LO is 16 days old, DS1 is 2.5 yrs. This is my first day without DH, my mom, or MIL around to help. Both boys are fed and wearing clean diapers, so I'm calling it a success so far.

  I get really overwhelmed when it is just me DD who is 3.5 and the twins who are a month old. I can only handle it for about a half day so far. Good luck today!

  I kind of find it smoothest when I'm on my own too! DH had to go to a conference - I'm on my own for 3 nights with both boys!! Wish me luck! We will see if I still think it's smooth on my own after this, lol!

  DH is back to work today also, but I feel like I'm cheating because my toddler is at daycare. I'm planning on a very laid back first day!

  BFP#2 3/16/11, beta 138; 4/12 Baby/HB DS born 9/10/11 at 29w4d due to partial abruption and PTL

  Ony own today for the first time with our little lady, FTM and Grammy left yesterday along with daddy back to work today. She's been fussier than normal by pretty far hoping she calms down soon! A shower sure would be an accomplishment! Here's to all of us trying our best today! :-)

  It has actually been smoother today than last week with dh. A few things are harder (finding time to pump, do dishes, etc) but so far so good. Both kids just went down for a nap at the same time!

  I'm having a smoother day without DH, too. And especially without any grandmas around. They spoil my older DS and feed his temper tantrums. DH and I know how to nip his tantrums in the bud, but the grandmas start giving him choices when he starts to whine and he freaks out. We tried to tell them not to ask him what he wants (because he doesn't know) but instead tell him what's happening next in as few words as possible, but they just think we're mean.
