For all of you disposable diapers mommies

What have you found wors best for you at night? We are having major leaking issues w. Little misters Pampers extra protections.

Re: For all of you disposable diapers mommies

  • We use the Luvs overnight diapers in a size up from what she normally wears (I think they say "Night Lock" on them). We rarely have leaks.

  • @ByeByeBooze‌ that is what we were thinking of doing. Just didn't know if it actually worked lol. He would be going from a four to five as well
  • @kleigh926‌ we have tried Luvs with no luck
  • during the day we use pampers cruisers, but for night, huggies overnights work well for us.

  • we use pampers overnights in size 5 and have no issues...
  • I mostly cloth diaper, but I've done disposables for a while when traveling and when battling rash. E is right on the cusp of a 3-4. We had better luck with Pampers swaddlers. He's only had one overnight leak and that was because my mother in law didn't put him in a clean diaper before bed the night of the wedding reception (DH and I stayed in a hotel kid-free).

I'm sure you've done it, but have you tried the different Pampers? My cousin said that she can't do the Pampers baby dry or the cruisers at night, she can only use the swaddlers, too. She can do the others during the day, just not at night. Weird, right?

  • We use pampers or huggies overnights.  Both work.  We use a fleece sleepsack and if her pjs do get a little wet, which they do on occasion, it does not go through the fleece.  If you are done with fleece sleepsacks, there are fleece pants or diaper covers.
  • Huggies Overnights for us. They work really well. Up & Up works for daytime, but not ON, unfortunately.

  • We've stuck with the Costco knockoffs of Huggies Supremes. We haven't had any issues with them, but other people have said that Huggies and Kirkland don't fit tight enough on the sides and leak from the edges (we haven't had this issue). We have had a lot of issues getting Pampers/LUVS (same thing) to stay on and not soak through.

This is exactly what we do except we go up a size in the overnights.

  • Right now we use a size up. It's hit or miss. I am finding lately though it's been more of a hit.... Not sure what changed.
