DS likes to sit while pooping

So DS wakes every morning in a fit. I always (incorrectly) assumed it was hunger. Yesterday, out of sheer exhaustion, I propped him up in a sitting position while I mustered up the will to wake yet again. He pooped a ton and was all smiles, not even hungry yet. This morning when he woke up crying, I sat him up again and he pooped then was all smiles. Does anyone else have a LO who doesn't poop lying down? He usually poops sitting during the day, too, just because he happens to be on our laps and he prefers to sit instead of lounge. I am hoping this means he'll be easier to potty train since he already likes sitting (wishful thinking)!

I have a sitter too! And his timing is so consistent that I've seriously thought about sitting him on the toilet! Not because I'm a follower of the early potty training movement, but just to save me the diaper...and often an outfit...his and mine. Sigh.
