Dear Mums,
I am work from home mum. I usually am locked in a room while my full time nanny takes care of my almost 2 year old. Since last 2 weeks - my son is increasingly banging my door and refusing to be taken care by my nanny. He is hysterical and wants me to come out to feed him / play with him... - in brief - he hates the idea that i am at home and not with him. So, to resolve this - is the only solution, to really start going to my office ? Or there are other options for me ? - I ask as I am now in my first trimester with my second one and would really like to avoid 45 minutes travel if i could.
Thanks !

I have tried the going out the front door and in the back door where my "office" is located to let DD think I've gone. She's a bugger and now knows if I'm not dressed for work, she asks why. It worked well with my son for a bit too around your son's age. I am trying to avoid the hour commute each way as it is not necessary for me to go to the office more than 1-2x weekly so it's challenging that I wish I had someplace to go close by. I know some ladies on here mentioned starbucks, coffee shop type deal (library?) for a few hours or peace. Maybe you can try that til he clears this phase?
My son sleeps until 8 o'clock. So when I was home on maternity leave and still had the nanny, I would have her go in to wake him up while I hid in the nursery. He did not know I was home
