All the cases of abdominal cancer I've seen is secondary to a primary cancer. For example prostate cancer that has spread to the abdomen.
I recently diagnosed a case of abdominal cancer in an older male recently. I am an ER provider. His symptoms were stomach bloating/distention/shortness of breath/constipation.
Diagnosed by CT scan. Unknown primary site, but it appeared that the CA in the abdomen was secondary.
Hope that helps and I'm sorry if you know someone going through that.
