Mommies, help! I've been jotting down all the patterns since DOB which is 05/02 and everyday is different.... Anyone else having a hard time with changes? Anyone not? What are u doing to keep up???
I'm struggling mostly because I keep forgetting. I have round about times, but that's it. I have an app that should be helpful but I can hardly ever find my phone. The hospital gave me a little booklet that I'm going to put with my bf stuff. Hopefully that will help.
I have tried apps and just writing it down and honestly, I just find it to be a pain in the ass. I just have been following his hunger cues and making a mental note of the time to ensure he eats every few hours.

I use baby connect and love it. I would be lost with out it to tell me the last time I pumped and the last time she ate. We haven't been using it for sleep yet but we probably will eventually.
I gave up recording feedings and diapers when I got home from the hospital. I didn't find it helpful at all. I know my baby is eating enough and pooping enough.
This. I even sucked at it in the hospital. The nurses would be so mad at me.
Me neither. I've been surprisingly laid back about this FTM thing. Cora eats, sleeps, poops, and pees. She's gaining weight. I don't feel the need to make myself crazy over it.
I'm obsessed with our First Year app. We paid $5 but it was $5 worth it for sure. We track everything.. Eat, sleep, poop, pee.. We also have been adding in memories and pictures and stuff.
We tracked feedings, side and diapers the first few days then we were told DS was doing fine (plenty of diapers) and didn't need to track. I still track feedings (start time and side) just in a note on my phone, so I can keep track of side and start to see a "pattern" (DS is 3 weeks)

I only keep track of her sleep at night. It makes me feel better when I know that she did indeed sleep 5 or 6 hrs straight, and it wasn't a figment of my sleepy imagination.
I use baby connect too for feedings and diapers. I can never remember when she last ate and what side she left off on so it's been super helpful. I'll probably stop keeping track of diapers soon since she's clearly doing enough of both!
I use baby track app and I love it I do the diaper and nursing I notice the she have an schedule and is amazing now I know how many times per day I breastfeed her and how often .
Yeah this time around in the hospital i bearly remembered to write anything down. When i got home i just made sure he was eating about every two hours or so. Whenever the nurse at the doctors office asks us how many pee and poop diapers he has a day i don't know what to say. I just guesstimate.
I use baby connect and love it. I'm a little data obsessed, so it may be overkill for others even if it's perfect for me.
This. I don't track diapers but I track feeding and pumping. We are still trying to get back to birthweight so I like to see when he ate last. I am EPing so it's important to me to see the pumping info. Plus charts are cool.

Yep. I set an alarm in my phone for 3.5 hours after he eats so I know if I need to wake him but I've given up writing down and keeping track.
I keep track in the similac app. I do it because I have been dreaming...like realistic dreaming, if feeding lo so it helps me remember what's real and what's a dream.

I was using a free app for the first week or so, but now I just mentally keep track of the last feeding time and use that to make sure LO doesn't go too long between feeding. I go with which side feels more full/less sore to start LO on. We change his diaper every time we feed, and it's almost always wet/dirty, so I'm not concerned about his output.
So much easier to not be keeping track .

I only kept track during the first week because he lost a lot of weight and I needed to pump and supplement for a few days. Now I have not been keeping track and everything is going just fine.

I would love to keep track but my hands are usually busy holding a baby to write anything down! I did get the baby connect app but have yet to try and use it. My phone is usually out of reach.
