How do you warm pumped breast milk when out and about? I get a cup of hot water if I'm at a restaurant but what if you are shopping it something? Can I just take it out if my cooler pack early and let it get to room temp? That could take forever.
I do NIP normally but he needs a medication every 8 hours so that goes in about an ounce of breast milk. He's only 7 weeks so I can't just squirt it in his mouth yet. He probably will take it colder I just wasn't sure if there was some trick or cool device used.
I use fresh milk when we go out, so let's say we have baby yoga at 11, my 10AM pumping results go in a bottle and I keep that bottle at room temperature and bring it with me. No need to refrigerate it if it's just going to be a few hours and most babies don't mind room temperature milk. It's only a little colder than it would be coming direct from the source. ;-)

The medicine is in a syringe. We tried to squirt it in there but he ends up gagging. I'll try it again when he's a little older. Yea if it works out to pump before leaving then that's how I would do it. Just leave it at room temp for the time. Usually it's been in the fridge so I pack it the cooler on the ice pack.

unfortunately, he will get better at spitting it out as he gets older. I had to give daily meds to my LO 1 until she was 9 months old. Put the syringe well inside the cheek, pointing towards the back and squirt just a little at a time.
Re: Warming breast milk
