    I'm not drinking now because I downed too many mimosas at a bridal shower this morning. Day drinking is not as much fun when you have tiny humans to care for (husband was home, no worries).

    I'm sitting on the patio watching the fire fizzle out. The kids made s'mores earlier. It was a relaxing day. We needed it because this week is going to be crazy. We're heading  into the few weeks when soccer and tball/baseball/softball overlap. 8-}

    Shiraz. I just realized that I know I like red wine better than white, and I don't like it too sweet or too dry, but beyond that, I don't know what kind of wine I like. I normally order or buy merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinot noir, or sangria. I'm like Julia Roberts and her eggs in runaway bride. I need to sit down with all the wine one day and figure this out.

    Do you have a wine cellar near you? Our local shop allows customers to do tastings and will help find wines that fit your preferences. By law, they charge by sample here, but it's still cheaper than purchasing random bottles.

    @KlondikeBar‌, I'll have to look into that. We have beer growler stores where you can do a flight of beers, and surely there's something like that for wine nearby. I know wine country obviously has that, but I'll have to see if there's something near me.

    They had this at a winery DH and I went to at the Biltmore, but I was pregnant at the time and didn't do it.

    Here, finally! DH just pulled some ribs off the smoker. Time to stuff my face and maybe have a glass of something... not sure what we have in the liquor cabinet.

    Then after dinner, mh will probably play video games and I will catch up that board drama.

    I am so fucking sad that betty crocker discontinued rainbow chip frosting. It's a fucking tragedy, people. Funfetti frosting doesn't have shit on rainbow chip.
