Anyone been told they have INCREASED blood flow from the placenta?

At a growth scan (baby measuring normal) the consultant told us he found increased blood flow from the placenta and we have to go back for another scan to see whats going on, he didnt however tell us what this could mean...I know that DECREASED blood flow is a sign the placenta is not working properly, but cannot find anything anywhere to say what INCREASED could mean - has anyone else been told this? We are not worrying about it until we know whether or not there is something to worry about! But I am curious as to what this could mean.

    I'm not sure why you wouldn't ask this at your appointment. If your follow-up appointment is not soon, call and ask your doctor to clarify what this means.

    I didn't say we didn't ask! He just said not to worry about it, wouldn't tell us what it could mean. Have spoken to my midwife who wasn't sure, its not something she's familiar with. Follow up is next week, they don't seem too concerned by it, I was only curious if anyone else had been told this is all!!
