I know I'm likely being ridiculous. I'll just get that out there first... But. My son is almost 7 weeks old. At this point with my daughter, she was almost always looking me in the eye and smiling when I spoke to her. James does not. In fact, I can count on one hand the number of times he has looked me or anyone else directly in the eye. When we speak to him he'll look at our mouths, or the ceiling, or the wall, but never our eyes. As for smiles, I know it is on the early side and that he still has time to start smiling before it becomes a concern, but I am concerned since he has yet to do it. Anyone experiencing this too?
