I hope it is ok if I post here? We did IVF to have my son and are struggling conceiving #2.

I was dx with PCOS "tendancies" and my husband had 0% normal morph. We had one chemical pregnancy and one loss at 9 weeks with TI and clomid before finding out about DH morphology problem and went straight to IVF with ICSI from there.

DS came from our first IVF attempt. We had 3-6day blasts left from that cycle.

So far for #2 we did 2 FETS and used all of our embryos which all resulted in BFN. A couple of TI cycles - BFN. Switched to a new RE did one IUI BFN. Sent DH to a male fertility specialist who realized he had an infection , put him on 3 weeks ibuprofen and antibiotics as well as antioxidants and his morph has gone from 0-1% to 3% and count of 70mil with motility of 95%.

We did an IUI on 4/14 which resulted in BFP but my betas this past week were 45,80,88 so was told last night that it is a chemical. Not sure what to do or where we should go from here...or if we just give in and be one and done..... but I though I'd come back to the bump after a long hiatus following the birth of our son.

@momarazzi007 I don't think there is anyway we can afford an ivf again ....we're still trying to pay off our first haha. We are 100% OOP. With DH morph up to 3% and with such a high count I'm tempted to ask the RE if we can keep trying femara or another ovulation inducing med with TI since we're kind of out of money for the IUI as well for the moment. Although I'm concerned since we have had 2 chemicals and a later loss that I'm just not meant to have babies ya know?

I also had irritable uterus with DS and ended up on bedrest at 26 weeks due to contractions every 5 min...so maybe my body just doesn't like pregnancy

I'm sorry to hear about your losses. I have recently been having similar thoughts - maybe I was just not meant to have more kids, etc. IF is just a big emotional roller coaster. One of the nurses at the RE's office said to me this morning - "so you're not giving up?" - truly she meant well but it was a little sad. They all know me and every one of them knows I was completely devastated by the loss of my twin pregnancy back in November.

I think you have to go with your heart on what you do next and I wish you all the best.

I hate that kind of thinking that creeps in and make me doubt my body and my womanhood. I just don't believe that a woman who longs so deeply to have a baby wasn't meant for it. I'm sorry you have to be here. I hope you find options that are feasible and that you can move forward soon.
