LO is still asleep!! She went down finally after a long and probably overstimulating day at 10pm. It's now 330am (5 1/2 hours later). She's stirring around, so I know she will wake up soon. I'm just amazed she's still out considering all this past week she was sleeping only 2 and possibly 3 hours at a time. I guess she needed her rest. (Btw, supply is established well and she's gaining weight like a champ so I'm not worried about waking her to eat)

DS have us two nights in a row like this. The next night- he woke up every 45 min. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Same here...my LO sleeps about 7 hours a night now, last night he ate about 9:30pm, was asleep by 10pm and I practically had to wake him up at 5:30am to eat! He is also eating, growing, and developing great. I feel like I hit the baby jackpot with this one....he has been so easy going from day one. He was in the nicu for a couple weeks and all the nurses would comment on what a happy content baby he is. I know not to take this for granted because my first baby was the complete opposite and it was really, really hard!

We had a 5 hour stretch last night too! To be fair, it was preceded by 5 hours of cluster feeding, so I feel like I deserve it.

Enjoy it! DD slept 5 hrs the other night but then proceeded to nurse for 1.5 hours, soil 2 diapers (so I had to keep changing her which woke her back up) and then get the hiccups, so now I don't let her go more than 4 hours. But we have not had her 2-wk appt yet so I don't know if she is even back at birth weight.

I EP so I can monitor how much I'm getting per session. Me missing a pumping session has not affected my supply thus far. Still getting enough to freeze half and half LO gets.

I've been told they usually get fussy during week 5 as it is the first "wonder week". I had never heard of wonder weeks but someone mentioned it on here and I researched it. Seems pretty legit.

Oh I don't on purpose. In fact, I've been trying to back off of my pumping sessions to decrease my output since I won't be able to pump when I return to work. I only pump for about 15-20 minutes and I'm still getting quite a bit.

Wow! Glad I accidentally read this. My LO is 5 weeks tomorrow and has been suddenly raising hell this weekend. This may keep me from jumping off a bridge. Just when I thought things were getting better they took a quick turn into the shitter. Maybe there's hope now. Lol
