We're having twin girls!

We went to an elective ultrasound boutique yesterday to find out the sex of our baby. (DH won't be in town for the anatomy scan) and we discovered we are having twins! 2 girls! Talk about the shock of a lifetime. One of the babies was hiding behind the other at my 9 week ultrasound so no one at my doctor's office suspected anything. Just wanted to share our exciting news. The story of finding out yesterday and our announcement pic is in my blog if you care to read. More than likely my due date will be bumped up to September but I'm going to hang out here for awhile anyway.

That's awesome! My mom had suprise twins where one boy was always hiding behind the other-I'm sure the scans weren't as detailed as now so she didn't find out until delivery!!!!

Wow! Congrats! Did you feel like this pregnancy was different at all? This happened to a lady in my neighborhood. I just told my Dh this and he said "could you imagine" and I said "I'd be so happy!" lol.

@BreandMikewedding‌ The only thing that's been different is I had morning sickness and food aversions in the first tri and I didn't have any of that with my other two! I also started showing a lot earlier but I thought it was because it was my third, lol.

Congrats! Do twins run in your family? I have fraternal twins on my side of the family which skipped a generation and was convinced I was having twins when I got pregnant this time around. But we have had three ultrasounds so far and it's only one baby.
